|Starts on Monday (April 15) a mega two-week shopping event is coming to Abu Dhabi, taking in 15 of the emirates’ top malls.
As part of the RAD Spring Sales, discounts of up to 75 percent will be offered to customers in more than 300 shops, including everything from clothing to homeware.
The malls involved including Abu Dhabi Mall, Dalma Mall, Bawadi Mall, Al Ain Mall, Yas Mall and Al Wahda Mall.
Also participating are WTC Mall, Khalidiyah Mall, Mushrif Mall, Raha Mall, Madinat Zayed Mall, Mazyed Mall, Barari Mall, Foah Mall and Bawabat Al Sharq Mall.
Basically, it’s a whole lot of malls offering a whole lot of discounts. There will also be prizes handed out each day, with a total of Dhs124,000 worth of vouchers up for grabs. All you need to do is spend at least Dhs200 in participating fashion outlets.
Saeed Rashed Al Saeed, destination marketing director at DCT Abu Dhabi, said: “Our mall and retail establishments are some of the finest in the world, and are an important facet of Abu Dhabi’s economic growth.
“We trust that these incredible shopping offers will encourage people to get out into the city and enjoy these deals.”
Meanwhile, a bit closer to home Dubai is set to host a huge city-wide sale with discounts of up to 75 percent on home furnishings, appliances and accessories.
The inaugural Dubai Home Festival will run from Thursday April 18 to Wednesday May 1 and features offers at 150 outlets across The Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Mirdif and other shopping centres.
In addition to the in-store deals, there will also be exclusive promotions and events such as an IKEA fashion show and a stunning firework display at Dubai Festival City Mall.
The sales will include famous brands as well as products from home-grown talent, while design experts will give workshops and masterclasses to help shoppers finesse their furnishing styles.
As well as discounts of 25 to 75 percent, Friday Surprises will give bargain-hunters the chance to bag an offer at a different outlet each week with just 24 hours’ notice.
